Librela (bedinvetmab) is a revolutionary prescription-only veterinary medicine specifically developed for the alleviation of pain associated with osteoarthritis (OA) in dogs. Active Ingredient & Composition

Each 1 ml vial contains:

  • Active substance: Bedinvetmab 20 mg (canine monoclonal antibody expressed in CHO cells)
  • Excipients: L-histidine, histidine hydrochloride monohydrate, trehalose dihydrate, disodium edetate, L-methionine, poloxamer 188, water for injections

Indications

For the alleviation of pain associated with osteoarthritis in dogs. Librela does not cure osteoarthritis or repair damaged joints, but by reducing pain it can significantly improve comfort, mobility and overall quality of life.

Dosage & Administration

Administered by subcutaneous injection once a month (approximately every 28 days). The recommended dose is 0.5–1.0 mg/kg body weight. For dogs 30.1–40 kg, one full 20 mg vial (1 ml) is typically administered. Exact dosage and administration must be determined and performed by a veterinarian.

  • Store and transport refrigerated between 2 °C and 8 °C

Important Safety Information

Librela is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM-V) and must only be used under veterinary direction. Not for use in dogs under 12 months of age, or in breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs. Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to bedinvetmab or any excipient. Women who are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding should take extreme care to avoid accidental self-injection.

Always follow your veterinarian’s instructions and the product information leaflet. This product requires cold-chain handling and is supplied as 2 × 1 ml single-use vials.
