Cytopoint 40mg Solution for Injection for Dogs – Targeted Relief from Allergic Itch
\n
Cytopoint 40mg is a pioneering veterinary biological therapy containing lokivetmab, a caninised monoclonal antibody specifically designed to treat pruritus (itching) associated with allergic dermatitis and the clinical signs of atopic dermatitis in dogs. Manufactured by Zoetis, this ready-to-use sterile injectable solution provides fast, long-lasting itch relief with a single subcutaneous injection administered by a veterinarian.

How Cytopoint Works
\n
Cytopoint targets and neutralises interleukin-31 (IL-31), a key cytokine that transmits the itch signal to the brain in dogs suffering from allergic skin disease. By blocking IL-31 before it can bind to its receptor, Cytopoint interrupts the itch-scratch cycle at its source. Unlike steroids or broad immunosuppressants, it acts with precision and does not suppress the overall immune system.
