How Cerenia Works

\n

Maropitant is a potent and selective neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist. It blocks the action of substance P in the central nervous system, interrupting the vomiting reflex at its source. This targeted mechanism provides reliable antiemetic action without causing drowsiness.

Dosage & Administration

For prevention of acute vomiting (dogs 8 weeks and older):
