Cazitel Plus Flavoured Worming Tablets for Dogs

Cazitel Plus is a highly effective, broad-spectrum oral worming treatment specially formulated for dogs. These pork-flavoured tablets make administration easy and stress-free, whether given directly or mixed with food. Ideal for treating mixed infections caused by common intestinal parasites.

Indications

For the treatment of mixed infections by nematodes and cestodes in dogs:

Nematodes (Roundworms)

  • Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adult and late immature forms)
  • Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults)
  • Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis (adults)

Cestodes (Tapeworms)

  • Echinococcus species (E. granulosus, E. multilocularis)
  • Taenia species (T. hydatigena, T. pisiformis, T. taeniformis)
  • Dipylidium caninum (adult and immature forms)

Dosage Guide

The recommended dose is 15 mg/kg bodyweight febantel, 5 mg/kg pyrantel (equivalent to 14.4 mg/kg pyrantel embonate) and 5 mg/kg praziquantel. This equals 1 tablet per 10 kg bodyweight.

Treat all dogs in the household at the same time to reduce the risk of reinfestation. Repeat treatment as advised by your veterinarian (typically every 3 months for adult dogs, more frequently for puppies).

Administration

Give the tablet(s) directly into the dog’s mouth or disguise in a small amount of food. No fasting is required before or after dosing.
